The valley of Urubamba distinguishes itself for its snowpeaks, considered sacred by the Incas. One of them, the Pitusiray, lords over Huayoccari, a town that stands at 2,950m above sea level. The surrounding mountains inspired the design of this single-family house that results from two essential operations. In the first place, the sloping land is treated with stone-made terraces and a platform which generates a horizontal ground for the house to be installed.
