A little over forty kilometers south of Lima lies Playa Escondida, a small enclave where seven single-family houses emerge from the rocky outcrop, facing the strong tropical sun. Equis House, the first house completed in 2003, was developed through a double project strategy: a maximum occupation of the plot’s buildable area (11 x 25 meters on plan and 3,6 in height) and its configuration as a solid volume nestled in the dunes.
