The portuguese Filipa de Castro Guerreiro and Tiago Macedo Correia graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto in the year 2000, founding with Bruno Figueiredo in 2001 a space for experimentation where different architects collaborated, and which they baptized Laboratory of Architecture. In 2006 the three architects started working together, establishing their studio, Atelier da Bouça, in Porto. The office has produced works like the Environmental Education and Interpretation Center in the protected area of Corno de Bico in Chã de Lamas. Located in an agricultural colony of 1940, the intervention proposes the recovery of the whole complex through the refurbishment of the old buildings and the construction of new volumes organized in three areas that harbor the documentation center, the school and accommodation for researchers...
