As part of a sensitive programme of urban regeneration, the project refurbishes and adapts the emblematic Telefónica building, in the center of Madrid. The intervention covers everything from the reconfiguration of interior spaces, circulation cores, accesses, and services to the complete reconstruction of the envelope. Cutting-edge energy efficiency and reduction of environmental impact go hand in hand with the optimum use of a spectacular interior with ceiling heights of more than five meters, affording effective, adaptable, open, and inspiring working environments and prioritizing the comfort of users as part of a flexible and sustainable office culture.

The imposing 133-meter main facade radically transforms the old building, formerly blind and impervious to any urban relationship and now transformed by a new glazed front whose curtain wall of aluminum and wood animates the street with the transparency of the activity inside and modulates relations with the neighboring buildings through the rhythm of its composition and reflections.
