The new headquarters of the Swiss banking and asset-management group Lombard Odier is located in Bellevue, in the Canton of Geneva. On the shore of Lake Leman, it brings together in a single building 2,000 employees previously dispersed across six sites, offering capacity for up to 2,600.

The design is guided by two key principles: maximizing connection with the natural surroundings and fostering collaboration inside. The facades, completely glazed and making no distinctions between front and back, allow a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. A central atrium, surrounded by meeting rooms, lets in natural light in abundance.

The curving slabs, besides giving the building a distinctive aesthetic, shade the facades and create pleasant covered exterior spaces. The terraces, held up by slender white columns, vary in size, shape, and orientation, in accordance with the programs of the adjacent interior spaces, and the result is a dynamic visual effect.

An auditorium seating more than 500 people opens out toward the garden, a staff gym, two restaurants, and a cafeteria. Indoor ramps and stairs ensure fluid circulation among different levels.

The project also reflects a strong commitment to sustainability: use of local materials, recycled concrete in the foundations, rainwater-collecting systems, and over 700 square meters of solar panels on the roof.
