DIIR, the Madrid practice of David Meana, Ignacio Navarro, Iñigo Palazón, and Ricardo Fernández, has transformed an old building with dormitories for teachers into the library of Los Molinos, a municipality of the Madrid metropolitan area, specifically in the Guadarrama Mountains.

A new circulation core with a semi-circular shape is attached to the building at the center. A reception space completes the semi-circle and forms its outline by means of a wooden bench. From this point, a large wood-paneled hallway acts as a spine and leads to each of the rooms. The color white dominates the interiors and gives prominence to the unique vaulted roof.
