This residential development rises at the corner of Cuba street and Antoni Picornell square in Palma’s Es Molinar neighborhood. Starting from formal premises of orthogonality, the building presents a solid base of marés, Majorca stone, which contains a day center and social facilities. With a flat landscaped roof, this volume closes itself to the exterior, while the interior is defined by an arrangement around a sequence of three differently sized courtyards. In lighter volumes combining lime-mortar plaster, wood, and glass, the apartments in the upper floors open out southward in a U, optimizing sea views.
