Founded in Switzerland in 1874, the Schindler Group – provider of elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and related services – presents a new line of modular elevators: Schindler 1000, Schindler 3000, and Schindler 5000. These models boast touchless sensors, advanced connectivity, and additional digital features that enhance passenger experience.
The new range registers lower CO2 emissions and less environmental impact than existing solutions. Among other advantages, it enables real-time performance tracking and adaptive maintenance, reducing downtime of the units. It also integrates PORT, Schindler’s touchless transit management system. All these new functions are channeled through the latest cybersecurity systems.
Among the new solutions are gesture-controlled landing operating panels and an interface that lets users remotely interact with the operating panel from their smartphones, using the myPORT app.
In line with the new elevator generation, Schindler is relaunching Schindler Digital Plan and Design, a web-based application that enables architects and planners to tailor elevators to client needs.
