Luis Fernández-Galiano, Award for Values of Spanish Architecture

Luis Fernández-Galiano has been distinguished with the Award for Values of Spanish Architecture, one of a series of accolades which the association Foro España Cívica gives to individuals with proven excellence in their respective areas of knowledge who have been motivated by values that benefit society.

Among the awardees in other categories are: Miguel Herrero y Rodriguez de Miñón and Miquel Roca Junyent, Salvador Sánchez Terán Award for Constitutional Values; Roberta Metsola, Award for European Values; Inger Enkvist, Award for Educational Values; and Jaime Siles, Award for Values of Classical Culture. In the previous cycle, held in 1922, José María Pérez (Peridis) received the Award for Values of Territorial and Environmental Planning.

On the jury of the 3rd Foro España Awards are the president and vice-president of Foro España Cívica, Mariano Gomá and Fernando Mut; the diplomat Javier Rupérez; Admiral Juan Rodríguez Garat; the journalist Ramón Pérez Maura; the writer Carmen Posadas; the film director Iñaki Arteta; the artist Manuel de la Calva; and the association’s secretary-general, Aina Aguiló.

The awards will be handed out at a ceremony to be held on 29 February, at 19:00, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid.
