Opening of Spanish Royal Academies year

On 10 October, with King Felipe VI presiding, the Royal Academies of the Institute of Spain (IdeE) commenced the 2022/2023 course with a ceremony held at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts, It fell upon Luis Fernández-Galiano, a full-fledged member of the hosting Academy, to deliver the inaugural lecture, titled ‘I Am Still Learning: The Late Style of Authors and the Late Tasks of Academies.’ The session can be seen through this link.
