Even with marble or bronze letters on the frontispieces of solemn buildings, there are blatant antinomies such as Technical School of Architecture or Opera House. Strictly speaking, neither the School of Architecture should be called “technical”, nor should a building intended for operatic performances be given the mythical and glorious name of theater.
