According to the ‘Reggio approach’, the environment can be seen as a ‘third educator’. For this reason, the spaces in the school are extendable and adaptable, with in-between areas with no predefined use to generate constantly changing spatial situations.
The bioclimatic functioning of the building has an educational role. The technology is integrated into a design that has been adapted to the climatic conditions with the use of passive strategies for environmental control and energy-efficiency.
The use of industrialized construction systems, the greenhouse and the structural wood panels guarantee meeting deadlines and budget control, while the wide variety of furniture creates a playground filled with constant surprises.
