Winner of the competition to revitalize the historic center of the capital of Paraguay, the Madrid team Ecosistema Urbano proposes a new way to improve the city and create new spaces. Backed by international and local experiences, the project combines institutional management and civic impulse to set forth, rather than a plan, a ‘master process’ capable of adapting in time to address the changing reality of the city. The first action is that of setting up Asunción Laboratorio Abierto (ASU-LAB), a space which will be the main and visible node to promote the process and manage its development, and which will articulate the actions of the institutions, citizens and groups...
