Although in Giorgio Grassi's winning proposal the head building of the Asea Brown Boveri area evoked in part Hilmer & Sattler's original conception - in which it formed a single body with the immediately adjacent one -, when it came to assigning the project for its detailed development it has been considered as a separate volume and the commission has fallen to the Hamburg firm Schweger & Partner, under the coordination of Grassi himself. This office and retail building, with its triangular floor plan and curved exterior façade, is the tallest of the twelve-storey complex and, due to its location at the intersection of Linkstrasse and Stresemannstrasse, assumes the most representative role on an urban scale...[+]
