C733 is formed by Gabriela Carrillo (Taller Gabriela Carrillo), Carlos Facio, and José “Chipe” Amozurrutia (TO), Eric ‘Master’ Valdez (Labg), and Israel Espín, all graduates from the Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM. For this text we interview them, at 10 pm in Quito, Ecuador, and at 9 pm in Mexico City, Mexico. We connect via Zoom, at a time that could seem absurd to any human being, but that falls within normality for them. This reflects one peculiarity of their work: they meet once a week, after their daily activities. Each one of them has their own office with projects under way and teaching activities, and night is the time when they meet to talk about their collective projects...
