It is evident that the practice of architecture cannot encompass all the complex mechanisms that generate the city. However, it possesses a decisive power to transform the urban experience, both in its spatial aspect and in its construction, through partial interventions able to transcend the purpose for which it was designed. Amidst the growing technical, legal, and urban complexities surrounding the field of construction, the survival of architecture depends on its ability to operate within a system that tends to view buildings as purely commercial products.
