One of China’s ancient imperial capitals and the eastern gateway of the Silk Road, Xian has in the past years become an important hub of new technologies. This includes semiconductor manufacturing, robotics, aerospace, and biopharmaceuticals.

At the intersection of Jingye and Zhangbawu Roads, in the Yanta district, the 210-meter tower contains 127,220 square meters of offices, retail, and ancillary facilities. Its gently curving silhouette presents layers of patterned glazing and large atriums, forming interior terraces that will be planted to resemble a mountain slope. The design targets LEED Gold certification and the highest, 3-star rating of China’s Green Building Program.
