Foster + Partners’ third office tower in Park Avenue will stand at number 350, halfway between the recently completed one at 425 and the current headquarters of JPMorgan Chase at 270. Counting 139,354 square meters, the new skyscraper takes a stepped form that engages with the architectural language of Midtown Manhattan. On the eastern side, every setback features a terrace with vegetation. The building tapers gradually as it rises, and ceiling heights reach 4.5 meters on the trading levels and 3.3 in the office floors. Four double-height superfloors connect with the terraces. The large workspaces benefit from the absence of columns at the corners. At ground level, one enters the glazed foyer from a landscaped public square.
