The ECB Center, where the project is located, is an irregular block that brings together examples of the entire range of buildings that make up the city's commercial district: two characterless skyscrapers, a five-story building that acts as a podium for the towers, a shopping center, and two remnants of the old historic center that survived the 1904 fire: the small Clarkson Gordon Building, inside the block, and the Bank of Montreal, on the corner of Yonge Street and Front Street West, whose final destination will be as a museum...[+]
