At Calle Guisando 26 stand four houses designed by the Madrid practice of José María de Lapuerta and Paloma Campo. The designs address the respective requirements of the households, respecting privacy and adapting to the topography of the terrain. The irregular lot drops 8 meters in a north-south direction, so each residence opens out to its garden while closing up northwards with blind facades. Architectural solutions that the four residences have in common, such as the brick facades and sloping roofs, result in a unitary compound.
