The proposal strives to synthesize the past, present and future of the region and the city through two singular buildings; between them, a large central square plays an important role in becoming a symbolic space for social gathering.
The project represents two times: the past, identified with the region’s different ethnic groups, and the future, related to technology and industry. The geometry and layout of the buildings is inspired in the natural geological formations of the territory.
The Heritage Museum will house permanent and temporary exhibitions devoted to the immaterial heritage of the Chinese province. The facade’s design includes silkscreen printed motifs with traditional Chinese geometric patterns.
The layout of the Digital Television Center and Cultural Center, devoted to culture and new technologies, is similar to that of the museum; a linear volume links the glass volumes, which come together as if they were dancing in the park.
