The most successful features of this precise prism result from the ability of the project to adapt to a standard model and tight budget. Hence, one single band of locker and rest rooms is added to the rectangular sports court, and converted in the basement into utility and storage spaces. In the design of the structure, which is visibly supported by a concrete plinth, necessity becomes virtue: interior frames with triangular web trusses are combined with rigid and continuous ones on the perimeter, in such a way that the set functions as a three-dimensional element but without the building complexity of spatial structures.
