In 2012, the cities of Basel (Switzerland), Huningue (France), and Weil-am-Rhein (Germany) signed an urbanistic agreement to create a cross-border district. Inserted in the first phase of the neighborhood’s development is the Link Building. Containing apartments and retail premises, it rises in Les Jetées, an area of Huningue, in the French region of Alsace. It stands on the banks of the Rhine, close to the Swiss and German borders, and is a work of Triptyque, a firm based in São Paulo and Paris, founded by Guillaume Sibaud and Olivier Raffaëlli.

With a built area of 4,062 square meters and a 4.5-meter high portico, Link Building presents a structure executed with prefabricated pieces of concrete. The external structural grid establishes a continuous connection between the indoor space and the surroundings, providing spectacular views.
