Modular is good. Two paired holiday dwellings and a shared small studio are fitted together in a prefabricated orthogonal grid that allows a straightforward layout and leaves the door open to possible reconfigurations in the future. Situated within a luxuriant estate in a rural environment, the complex presents a cladding of yellow tiles that enhance all the greenery around and unify the three independent parts, as does the wrap-around veranda, an exterior projection – behind and on the sides – of the simple steel structure. The facings protected by the roof open out to the garden area by means of large windows, offering a gradual transition toward a lounging area that benefits from its double height, with views and natural light maximized.
