This building carried out for Madrid's municipal housing and land corporation (EMVS) in the Spanish capital's Carabanchel district, containing 25 apartments with 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms, is protected by rent regulation (VPPA). In designing the block the Madrid firm of César Ruiz-Larrea followed bioclimate and sustainability criteria, obtaining Passivhaus Classic certification for energy efficiency, by which thermal comfort is achieved through the heating and cooling of the air flow necessary to ventilate the interior spaces optimally. All the living units are floor-through, with windows on the north and south.
