The late style that has been so avidly discussed in the Anglo-Saxon world in the wake of Edward Said’s posthumous book On Late Style, and which Peter Eisenman and Elisa Iturbe also addressed in Lateness, is now the subject of a work by the American writer Geogg Dyer. Titled The Last Days of Roger Federer and Other Endings, it seems especially apropos today as the Swiss tennis champion announces his retirement.
