Winners of the 13th BIAU

Ten projects have been announced the winners of the 12th Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BIAU), themed ‘Climates: Actions for Good Living’ and to be held in Lima from 2 to 6 December .

BIAU is organized by Spain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda (MIVAU) through the General Secretariat for Urban Agenda, Housing and Architecture, in collaboration with the Higher Council of the Spanish Architects’ Associations (CSCAE) and Fundación Arquia.

BIAU is a call for the creation of more sustainable, equitable, and diverse futures, and for greater exchange of ideas in addressing extreme climate conditions and their impact on the built environment.

Housing is a central topic in this 12th edition of awards given to outstanding works of architecture and urban planning in six categories: Projects, Professional Achievement, Publications, Teaching Prorgrams, New Rules, and Other Coordinates.
