The constant generation of data through daily-use objects like mobile phones expands the information networks, which become a valuable tool in participatory processes and have a great potential as marketing instrument. These advantages and also the risks this information explosion entails are at the center of the political, economic and cultural debate. ‘Big Bang Data’ explores this phenomenon, and analyzes the effects of datification through the views of creators working in different fields and disciplines, including, among other names, Chris Jordan, Erik Kessels, David Bowen, Ingo Günther or Eric Fischer.
