The investment bank and financial services holding company’s headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in Manhattan will, says Foster + Partners, be “New York City’s largest all-electric skyscraper with net zero operational emissions and will be 100% powered by renewable energy sourced from a New York State hydroelectric plant.” The 60-story stepped office building will reach a height of 423 meters, interspersing vegetation in the ascent. The base of the skyscraper narrows and rises over a structure with columns arranged in fan-like formations.
