In a neighborhood outside Toulouse, near the airport and the river Garonne, the housing development of the Barcelona office of Josep Lluís Mateo is characterized by variety in the treatment of the volumes, the aim being to optimize living conditions in the apartments in accordance with orientations and in response to the peculiarities of the site. Arranged around an inner garden, the four separate blocks differ in height, volumetric composition, and materials. Three of them have zinc roofs which slide down the rear sides, while the other facades are clad with white and black bricks, the predominant color varying. The fourth volume, smaller and rising three floors, is built with wood. Mateo Arquitectura Adrià Goula
