Located in the city of Guilin, in China’s Guangxi region, thirteen wooden cabins tightly interspersed with lush trees, rising as high as their tops, form the Guilin Lebei Homestay Hotel, a work of the Beijing firm aoe architects. Each containing 27 square meters of space, the raised constructions are organized in two levels connected by slides and stairs, their interior layouts varying. The objective of the project is to offer guests an immersion-in-nature experience.
