The Murcian firm headed by José María López and Edith Aroca, in collaboration with The Pink Panther Collective, has won the competition to refurbish the civic center of Roldán, a district under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Torre Pacheco.

Their scheme for the project separates uses by means of entrance pavilions, forming two differentiated areas: a community space for one-off events and a multipurpose zone. A second skin modernizes the facility's image and makes it more energy-efficient. With ceramic openwork and pieces of enameled earthenware, the outer envelope penetrates the building, shaping various functional spaces.
