Photographs by William Mulvihill offer a walk through the Spanish Pavilion at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, open until 13 October on the artificial island of Yumeshima.

A ring-shaped avenue paved in wood, designed by Sou Fujimoto, surrounds the premises. Spain’s pavilion –a work of the team formed by Extudio, ENORME Studio, and Smart and Green Design – drew inspiration from the sea and the sun. It presents an undulating topography, evoking waves and guiding visitors toward a central plaza that acts as an anteroom of the exhibition.
