‘Tiffany Wonder’ is the title of an exhibition that documents the cultural legacy of Tiffany & Co., the American jewelry design house, over its almost two-hundred years of existence. The show was staged at Tokyo Node gallery, inside Toranomon Hills Station Tower, an OMA-designed building in the center of Japan’s capital. The sequence of rooms designed by Ellen van Loon presents different narratives, starting with an installation that draws from the brand’s extensive collection to create a digital archive, followed by a display of items organized thematically. The exhibition spaces present an intimate atmosphere that responds to the small and precious objects on view, from mythical jewels to lamps, and several of the rooms are paved with terrazzo tiles manufactured by the Mallorca-based firm Huguet.
