Rafael Moneo has just added another success to his long list of achievements: on April 10, his victory in the international competition for a new museum complex in Stockholm was announced. When built, it will be the only building by a Spanish architect in Nordic lands.

In May 1990, the Swedish National Council for Public Constructions invited architects from their country to an open competition for the new premises of the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Architecture.
