The 64th FAD Awards gathered a total of 542 entries: 434 competing in the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design (212 Architecture, 133 Interior Design, 38 City and Landscape, 51 Ephemeral Interventions), 75 in the FAD Awards for Thought and Critique, and 33 in the International FAD Awards.

The jury of the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design – Inês Lobo (chairperson), Paloma Cañizares, Josep Puigdomènech, Pep Quilez, Maria Rubert de Ventós, Jorge Vidal – shortlisted six works for the Architecture category: the Llacuna residential building in Barcelona by Arquitectura-G; 8 subsidized rental dwellings in Palma de Mallorca by Carles Gabriel Oliver Barceló, Xim Moyá Costa, Antonio Martín Procopio, and Alfonso Reina Ferragut (IBAVI) with Miguel Rodríguez Nevado; the El Roser social center in Reus (Tarragona) by Josep Ferrando Bramona and David Recio Muniesa (Josep Ferrando Architecture) with Xavier Gallego Seuba (Gallego Arquitectura); Casa Costa in Barcelona by Arquitectura-G; CAP Cotet in Premià de Dalt (Barcelona) by Jordi Badia and Jero Gutiérrez (BAAS arquitectura) with Francesc Sandalinas (AIS); and Casa Azul Monte dos Patos in Grândola (Portugal) by Ricardo Bak Gordon. Under Interior Design, there are three finalists: the refurbishment of the annex to the Bathhouse of the Mosque, within the Alhambra complex in Granada, into an exhibition space, by Juan Domingo Santos; the Garage in Madrid by NOMOS; and the renovation of the Paço dos Condes in Ourém (Portugal) by João Mendes Ribeiro.

The winners will be announced in mid-June.
