Villa Radal in Gothenburg

Bornstein Lyckefors

In Långedrag, a district of the Swedish city Gothenburg, on land adjacent to Fritz Schéel’s villa, built in 1915, stands this house surrounded by vegetation. Adapting to the slope of Osberg Hill, the two-story residence breaks up into three volumes crowned with overhanging roofs. The roofs are interconnected horizontally but vary in section, with disaligned ceilings that enrich the spaces. The lower floor contains a living room and bedroooms. Upstairs are the kitchen and the balconies and terraces, making the most of the views.
