On a busy crossing, a series of roofs of different sizes adapt to the natural contours of the terrain and extend the Art Gallery of New South Wales, respecting the views and the existing trees while connecting the whole area via a large plaza.
Between the existing building and the extension, the large plaza covered by one of the platforms functions as public entrance and gathering point; from here visitors can walk to the exhibition galleries and access the terraces... [+]
