The installation for the 2018 Biennale worked with the idea of liquid light to reproduce, on a 1:1 scale, a skylight from Sala Beckett in Barcelona (an old co-op building converted into a theater), and to recreate the air of the original space with large photographs.

Through an operation of transposition of place and transfer of light, the replica of the roof opening captures natural light, leading it towards the center of the Arsenale avenue, representing in this way the experience of a geographically distant space.

The backstage displays a full repertoire of resources – from the first doubts and tests to the final drawings and models – developed during the process of design and construction of the theater, to show the context of the hall and creative process of studio...[+]
