This new facility for breeding and training horses in the Ludwiczak Stables, in the Polish village of Jaroszewo, blends with the rural surroundings, respecting the diversity of the materials, shapes, and scales of existing constructions.

Continuing the direction of nearby roofs, this building’s mono-pitched cover forming an angle with a vertical clerestory evokes industrial constructions in the vicinity, which present sawtooth roofs. Concrete and wood are left exposed, with no additional finishes. The visible structure is a continuation of the building’s honesty and austerity.
