Applying its principles, a regional agency for the environment incorporates passive energy-saving strategies into its offices, minimizing the need for climate-control systems.
Besides providing daylight aplenty, a roof with 112 greenhouse-type skylights produces a stack effect which, in combination with several courtyards, keeps hygrothermal conditions adequate all year.
