The studio Nieto Sobejano, in collaboration with Novae Architectes, has won the bid to build a sports and culture center in Reignier-Esery, a commune located in the Haute-Savoie department of France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. With a floor area totaling 7,500 square meters, the project seeks integration with the landscape, but without shying away from affirming its volumes and expressing some of the recurrent features of the particular style of the Madrid-based partners, such as severe geometries, minimalist skins, and emphasis on roofs.
