‘Momentané’, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris
In a space of 1,000 square meters, the exhibition ‘Momentané’ celebrates the fifteen years of work of the designers, covering their whole artistic career. The brothers Ronan and Erwan, born in Bretagne in 1971 and 1976 respectively, have designed the scenography, which shows different aspects of their work distributed in the three naves of the Parisian museum. Displayed in an installation that takes up the central area, the pieces set up a dialogue with the vast classical space of the building. The side naves reflect the work atmosphere of the artists and their creative process, gathering 300 drawings that are included in their recent book Drawing.
The exhibition ‘Momentané’, organized by Dominique Forest with the assistance of Marianne Brabant, can be visited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs until 1 September 2013...[+]
