Exhibition making has become a significant means for Norman Foster to think about the meaning of his work, the context in which it is made and about where it can go next. Last year, at the Gug-genheim Museum in Bilbao, he conceived and designed ‘Motion,’ a huge project that involved no less than 40 vehicles. It explored the cultural and architectural significance of the car in a way that no other curator could have done. This year he has worked with the French curator Frédéric Migay-rou on a large-scale exhibition of his own work at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
