The project ‘Between Earth and Sky,’ carried out by the consortium formed by MGP in Bogotá and Estudio Entresitio in Madrid, is the winner of the international competition to build the National Museum of Memory in the Colombian capital, instituted in accordance with a Law of Victims put in force in the year 2011 to establish a platform for fostering dialogue on the conflict that has assailed the country since the 1960s. With its sculptural skylights as characteristic feature, the building is to start going up in 2016, for completion in 2018.
