The restricted competition called by the Venice Biennale for the realization of a new project for the Italian Pavilion in the Giardini di Castello has offered the possibility of having twelve of the most qualified Italian architects face a hot topic: the project for a vast complex destined for temporary exhibitions. This initiative is intended to help solve a problem that not only involves life and activity at the Biennale, but also has repercussions that affect the needs of the entire city of Venice, where the lack of adequate and modern exhibition spaces capable of meeting the needs of a very dynamic community when it comes to proposing cultural activities and high-level exhibitions has become evident...[+]
