‘La mirada circular’ by Javier López Bautista
The winners of the latest Tile of Spain Awards for Architecture and Interior Design, organized by ASCER, the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association, were announced. Chairing the jury was Rafael de La-Hoz, with José González Gallegos (Aranguren+Gallegos), Jonathan Arnabat, and Jordi Ayala-Bril (Arquitectura-G) among the other members. Javier López Bautista won in the Architecture section with a viewpoint located in Puebla de Arenoso (Castellón). For Interior Design the accolade went to Hill House by studioNOLET, a refurbishment of a single-family house in Sant Feliu de Guixols (Girona). Every prize, which comes with 15,000 euros, rewards the work which in its category excels in its use of Spanish tile.
