House in Puntiró (Majorca), by Ripoll Tizón
The winners of this year’s Tile of Spain Awards for Architecture and Interior Design, organized by the Spanish Association of Wall and Floor Tile Manufacturers (ASCER) with the purpose of highlighting works that make good use of Spanish ceramic tiles, have been announced by the jury chaired by Carme Pinós. The Architecture prize went to ‘Casa en Puntiró’ (Majorca) by the firm Ripoll Tizón, which won the 21st awards, and the Interior Design one to the project ‘Casa Isabel la Católica. Dibujando a José María García de Paredes,’ sited in Granada, Agustín Gor (GRX arquitectos). The first prizes in the Architecture and Interior Design sections come with a monetary prize of 15,000 euros each.
