17th ASCER Tile of Spain Awards


The Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association (ASCER) has announced the 2018 winners of the Ceramics for Architecture and Interior Design Awards, the aim of which is to acknowledge projects carried out in Spain that make imaginative use of tiles in floors and claddings. These are the 17th ASCER Awards and Jorge Silvetti has chaired the jury. In the Architecture category the winner is the new entrance to the intermodal station of Palma de Mallorca, by Joan Miquel Seguí Colomar. For the Interior Design section the judges decided on a house facing the sea in Port de la Selva (Girona), by Xavier Martí and Lucía Ferrater. And the Degree Project prize goes to ‘Un buen suceso,’ by Manuel Bouzas Barcala of the UPMadrid School of Architecture. Premios Cerámica
