Recently, while browsing architecture sites on the internet, I came across a blog where surfers had posted their opinions on SANAA. I spent a while scanning these anonymous verdicts, until one in particular grabbedmy attention. Despite the fact that it was tainted with disapproval and scepticism, in an interesting way it some how managed to sum up the gist of a career, Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa’s, which appears to leave no-one indifferent: “oh, and about SANAA… I love those pictures of Sejima where she isn’t even smiling because she looks like her buildings” (1.sebastiàn 01.11.07 @ 8:03 | #)...
